We’re dedicated to reducing the global and local burden of infectious illnesses through clinical care, research, and education. It addresses major health challenges ranging from multi‑drug resistant infections to emerging threats like SARS and West Nile virus while contributing to patient care across hospitals including Vancouver General, St. Paul’s, BC Children’s & Women’s, and the BC Centre for Disease Control. The division brings together clinicians, scientists, and educators committed to developing new treatments, advancing scientific understanding, and training the next generation of infectious disease specialists.
