Zou, Dr. Jason

Clinical Instructor

Dr. Jason Zou is an infectious diseases physician at Vancouver General Hospital and Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He has trained across Canada having obtained his MD at the University of Manitoba, followed by internal medicine residency at the University of Calgary and adult infectious diseases fellowship at UBC. After his subspecialty training, he pursued further training in quality improvement as part of the Excellence in Quality Improvement Certificate Program (EQUIP) at the University of Toronto.

His current areas of focus include multidisciplinary care of bone and joint infections as well as quality improvement within the field of infectious diseases. He also has a passion for teaching and medical education; during his subspecialty training at UBC, he was recognized for his innovative work developing a novel medical education card game with the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) Rising Star award and the UBC Continuing Professional Development Resident Research Award.
