After completing his Infectious Diseases fellowship at UBC Dr. Oravec moved to Nanaimo where he works full time with the hospital based ID service and part time with the Primary Care Outreach team. Professional interests include general ID, outreach and street medicine, and health equity and social justice work. When not at work he prefers to be climbing rocks, running trails or spending time with friends and family.”
