Connors, Dr. William

Clinical Associate Professor

Dr. Connors is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and a consultant based primarily at St. Paul’s Hospital. He obtained his MD from UBC, Internal Medicine & Infectious Diseases certification from University of Calgary, and an MPH with a focus in Global Health from Emory University. He has a special interest in tuberculosis and other mycobacterial diseases and works with the BCCDC Provincial Tuberculosis Program, on the Vancouver General Hospital Tuberculosis Ward, and with the VGH Non-Tuberculous Mycobacterial Disease Clinic. His clinical and research interests focus on improving infectious disease related health care and prevention services to those currently marginalized in our society and healthcare system. He is a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and actively involved in regional and national education and advocacy work related to Infectious Diseases.
